Lanzhou International Land Port Park Enterprise Multimodal Transport Company, Creating an Open Logistics New Hub
In 2025, the company signed an annual export agreement for train accessories with Kazakhstan Silk Road Co., Ltd., covering key categories such as braking systems, connecting components, and electrical equipment. These accessories are produced according to international advanced standards, with high precision and reliability, effectively supporting the upgrading and maintenance needs of the railway system in Kazakhstan. To ensure the efficient delivery of the first batch of accessories, the company innovatively adopts air transportation mode, relying on the stability and efficiency of the China Kazakhstan air channel, to achieve a dual guarantee of logistics timeliness and safety.
On this basis, the company further expanded its service chain. In May 2025, two locomotives from Kazakhstan entered the country through the Alashankou Port and arrived at the Lanzhou maintenance base, marking the official launch of Gansu Province's first inbound and outbound bonded maintenance business. The project is fully undertaken by a multimodal transport company, relying on the Lanzhou Customs' full process bonded supervision mechanism, to achieve the full chain service of "entry maintenance delivery" for railway equipment in Kazakhstan. After more than two months of technical preparation, the first batch of locomotives will be officially delivered to Harbin on August 25, 2025, with all performance indicators meeting international standards.
As a landmark project of service trade innovation in Gansu Province during the 14th Five Year Plan period, this business not only fills the gap in the field of high-end equipment cross-border maintenance in Gansu Province, but also establishes a new regional cooperation model of "technical standard output service trade expansion inbound and outbound maintenance closed-loop", which has been widely reported by mainstream media in the province and city, and has also appeared on the Xinhua News Agency (Russian) page.
